ProWeb Contractor ("we", "us", "our") provides websites, lead-capture tools and automated follow-up systems to fence contractors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to any forms, calls or text messages connected with our service.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need in order to contact you and deliver the service:
- Information you give us — your first and last name, business (company) name, phone number, email address, and anything you tell us in a form, on a call or by message.
- Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring source. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing attribution data — where a visit came from (for example UTM tags or a Facebook click identifier), so we can tell which adverts are working.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and our service is intended for business owners only.
2. How we use your information
- To contact you about an enquiry you submitted, including by phone, email and text message.
- To book, confirm and remind you about appointments.
- To provide, operate, support and improve our service.
- To send service updates and, where you have agreed, occasional marketing.
- To measure advertising performance and improve our campaigns.
- To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
3. SMS and text messaging
This section explains our text messaging programme and your rights in relation to it.
Consent
By providing your mobile number and ticking the consent box on our form, you agree to receive text messages from ProWeb Contractor at that number. These may include appointment confirmations, reminders, replies to your enquiry, follow-up about a quote, and occasional information about our service.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You can use our service without agreeing to texts.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies depending on your activity with us. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving messages, and we are not responsible for those charges.
How to opt out
You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send you further marketing texts. To rejoin, reply START.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message from us, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your network or device.
Mobile information sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who help us run the business — for example our CRM and messaging platform, email provider, hosting provider and analytics tools. They may only use the information to perform services for us.
- Legal reasons — where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- Business transfer — if our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
As stated above, text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, understand how it is used, and measure the performance of our advertising. This includes the Meta (Facebook) pixel and its Conversions API, which tell us when someone who saw an advert took an action such as submitting a form or booking a call.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. You can also manage advertising preferences through the settings of the relevant platform.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards, and for as long as required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
- Texts — reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Calls — tell us on any call and we will remove you.
- Access, correction and deletion — you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the UK GDPR or state privacy laws in the United States.
9. Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
